Today saw the end of my NQT year and my time at Falkirk High. I have enjoyed every minute, grown as a teacher and most importantly developed friendships which will continue beyond NQT. Thanks @FHSBusinessEdu for all the support, advice and pizza! To the pupils, you are amazing!

Please see important safety advice, regarding young people avoiding risks around water activity and ice. There are so many hidden dangers that young people should be aware of. With the current cold weather, this advice is crucial, it will be reinforced during PSE lessons too.
I feel sad as my placement @LornshillEnt has ended. I was lucky to have inspirational role models who I have learned so much from, especially my mentor @MissLiddell2017 whose guidance gave me confidence. I have met amazing people, both pupils and teachers! Thank you so much x

So after 3 years of dressing as a student, I’ve been pulling out the smart clothes whilst on placement. When I picked up my 7yr old daughter she asked me .....’mummy, why are you looking so grown up???’ 😂😂😂

Creating a list of ‘teacher hacks’ for our new NQTs/ trainees. What are the things you wish you’d known? E.g. collecting books in on the page you want to mark or including a header on your PP slides so the title & date are always visible. Contributions/ RTs appreciated! – at Ealing, London
