En 2020 se decía que DirectML (INT8/INT4) blindaba a Xbox Series X a futuro y muchos lo tacharon de humo. Hoy AMD trae FSR 4.1 por IA a Series X porque MS pagó ese espacio en el silicio RDNA 2 desde el día 1. AMD puso el algoritmo, pero el chip ya estaba listo.

Acaban de crear la máquina de emulación definitiva. No tiene ni una limitación de potencia para correr cualquier consola que ha existido. Si tuviera más destreza en estos temas, haría negocio en el tianguis para “chipear” las PS5. Regresar a los 2000’s de la infancia mexicana.

Sobre el papel, la principal ventaja de la PS5 era su SSD más rápido y su tecnología de descompresión. Pero la Series X tenía mejores especificaciones generales, y su arquitectura RDNA 2 me hacía ser optimista sobre futuras mejoras en escalado y tecnología gráfica. 2/3

Ahora hablamos de FSR 4, mientras que la tecnología PSSR mejorada de Sony es una característica exclusica de la PS5 Pro. Elegir Xbox me pareció apostar por una mejor plataforma de hardware a largo plazo. Sigo pensando que fue una apuesta razonable.

Now we're talking about FSR 4, while Sony's newer PSSR tech is a PS5 Pro feature. Base PS5 owners are left without that same upgrade path. Back in 2020, choosing Xbox felt like betting on the better long-term hardware platform. I still think that was a reasonable bet. 3/3

Mi regla es no meterme a ningun fandom hasta terminar un juego, por miedo a los spoilers mas que nada. Si acaso el FOMO me hara conseguir el juego y jugarlo, pero no meterme a ver teorias o gameplays comentados o contenido derivado hecho por fans.

We no todos tienen la oportunidad, ni el capricho de comprar juegos todo el tiempo. Algunos son gente joven o personas que no pueden dar el lujo por que necesitan pagar cosas como renta, agua o electricidad. Si metes el tema de las roms o emuladores, es una ruleta de virus
