Sheβs making little coos in her sleep, giving occasional grunts, βof course, Iβm proud. Charlie did good job.β
Heβs proud of her. Ashamed he missed the birth. He wonβt tell him how things went between him and Charlie, he doesnβt want to worry him. But he is back in his old room.
βShe was born on Halloween,β he spoke softly, his hand resting on the back of her head, thumb just lightly caressing her hair.
βShe looks like Charlie with dark hair and my eyes,β she was perfect, just like the twins. Heβs sniffling a little. Happy but sad as well.
βNo,β he smiled, βhold out your arms,β TJ is helping him. Getting his arms ready like he was going to hold a football. Though sheβs about the same size.

Tomorrow did come by and though he promise he wouldnβt bring the twins. But this surprise he didnβt even know about.

And his room will definitely need to be readied for him. He knows Charlie, sheβs a strong woman and has every right to be upset with him.
