Seems we’re on a right path towards proper benefit to harm ratio in PCa screening with this 3-tiered algorithm. Importantly, we’re powered for PCa mortality outcome!
In this preliminary report from an ongoing clinical trial, a screening protocol—PSA test, a kallikrein panel risk score & MRI before targeted biopsy—detected 1 high-grade prostate cancer per 196 men and 1 low-grade prostate cancer per 909 men.
