A Bantry Bay renovation gave us the chance to plan Wi‑Fi, TV distribution and Sonos as one system across three storeys.
The visible rooms stayed calm; the infrastructure did the work.

One room, two moods. In this Oranjezicht cinema, the blinds close and a motorised drawer moves the projector into place for film night. mirroredgenetworks.com/portf…
Planned during construction, this Durbanville cinema pairs a floating 120-inch screen with M&K Dolby Atmos sound, Anthem amplification and a custom illuminated rear wall.

This Stellenbosch media room became a private cinema through concealed acoustics, integrated speakers and layered lighting. We retained the client’s existing AV equipment where it made sense. mirroredgenetworks.com/portf…
An attic storeroom became a dedicated Tokai home cinema.
We retained the client’s projector, placed it outside the room to reduce fan noise, and added 7.2.4 Dolby Atmos sound and Control4 lighting.

Good home Wi‑Fi takes more than adding access points.
We plan coverage, capacity, cabling and support around the property and the systems it serves.

A TV that appears through a mirror.
A screen that lowers for cinema night.
Hidden AV works best when the room, cabling and controls are planned together. Explore the possibilities:

An existing smart home doesn’t always need starting over. At Clifton Terraces 602, we refitted Control4 to bring Lutron lighting, climate and multiroom audio into one consistent interface. mirroredgenetworks.com/portf…
A Camps Bay B&O service visit became an upgrade: we integrated a BeoSound 9000 and calibrated BeoLab 5 speakers, keeping a treasured CD collection in use.

In this Val de Vie home, Bang & Olufsen BeoLab 5 speakers are part of the lounge design, while a motorised bedroom TV disappears into the ceiling. Control4 ties the experience together.

Power protection belongs in the AV plan. For a cinema or hi-fi rack, we match the Furman unit to the equipment, load and circuit—not just the number of outlets. Our guide to Furman Power management:

A three-TV brief became a whole-apartment AV project at Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront Marina: shared video sources, Crestron control, Sonos and Wi‑Fi, planned as one system.

A cinema when you want one; a living room when you don’t.
Near Hermanus, a motorised screen disappears when not in use, while Control4 brings projection, sources and sound under one remote.

Clifton, 2014: we modernised an existing Bang & Olufsen system with HD TV, streaming and Wi‑Fi—while servicing equipment worth keeping. The first of several projects for this client.

Villa Adara’s Wi‑Fi upgrade began with new cable routes—not just a new router. We installed conduits, structured cabling and four access points across a three-storey Camps Bay home.
