Thanks @MoRepMackey for meeting with us today in Jeff City!

Can’t wait to lobby our state reps…

We are so excited for the school year to begin, we can hardly contain ourselves! #mirowitzjoy

We arrived! Can’t wait to visit our state reps @TracyMcCreery @paulabrown2018 @applebaumM071 @IanMack03007724 @bear_adams @deanplocher and visit with Senator @JillSchupp

Mirowitz 4th graders are lobbying their elected officials about issues they care about. Thanks Rep @TracyMcCreery for listening to our students and encouraging them to use their voices for change.

We are smiling under our masks! Watch this (very short!) video to find out why! Then...keep us smiling by donating here: mirowitz.org/donate-now. #GivingTuesday

Thank you, Rep. Ian Mackey, for spending time (via Zoom) with some passionate 4th grade constituents this afternoon. With your encouragement, their first lobbying experience certainly won’t be their last. #moleg

Our students weren’t tourists today - they were concerned citizens on a mission to help make positive change in our state! Mission accomplished!

We also visited the Missouri Supreme Court to learn more about the judicial branch of our government!

Thank you for meeting with our students, @MariaChappelleN ! We learned today that a lot of lobbying happens in the hallways of the Capitol - and it’s hard to hear!

Thank you, @AppelbaumMO71 , @meaccoleman (via awesome staff member), and #DougClemons for hearing our students!

We visited Temple Beth El, the oldest synagogue west of the Mississippi River, in continuous operation since 1883!

Our students getting the REAL deal on how a law is passed. (Its way more complicated than Schoolhouse Rocks told us!) @RepRoden111
