This is the hardest day every year. To not be able to wish all the best to a loved one, because you don't know, where she lives or how she's doing. I miss her. Every fucking single day.

Hey @BlinkShell, how do I activate the focus on my external USB-C connected display? The windows opens perfectly, but I cannot move my mouse over and could not find a way to focus it… Would love to try that!

ChatGPT can write stories and then tell DALLE-2 prompts to illustrate them. I asked it to write a children's story about "a robot that wanted to be a human." Here's the story it came up with: (0/11)

I honestly have no idea, why people are upset about acquisitions like Figma. If they trusted any earlier statement from founders like: I would never do xyz… they are just naive. 5-15% customer loss is certainly factored in already.

Those non-subscription preferring customers look elsewhere almost instantly, the rest will swallow the pill and continue using instead of losing productivity. Once products deteriorate, then they will look elsewhere. In the meantime Adobe will reap the benefits of laziness.

It's always the same with every subscription based company, see Eagle + Autodesk. Free tier to silence critics, then tighten the screws until the tier becomes unusable. Only then KiCAD got a significant uptick in userbase.
Never change, Emmanuel!

Somehow on Windows I cannot use the standard unicode input method using <alt>+<numpadplus>+00F6 for instance. What outputs a ö in a terminal window or notepad acts as <alt>-f in Chrome, opens the settings menu... Is this input method unsupported? @mathias

Finally! Finally a company that gets it! I am surprised that it is Microsoft, but - hey - kudos to you for getting this right! No cookie for you github.blog/2020-12-17-no-co…

Selling a FOCI tracker for 40€ (orig. 70€), wore it only one day. Doesn't fit to my style of desk work. Company refused to refund, indiegogo comment was moderated away. Reply with DM if interested. #foci #fociai
Looking for BPractise/Books/Courses re. GraphQL server implementation details (code & schema splitting, multi-level resolvers) for larger schemas (like GitHub API4). Can only find small examples... #relayjs @apollographql
