I was in college when I got suspended for using my phone during an exam.
I didn't argue.
Professor: “You knew the rules.”
Me: “Yes, sir.”
Professor: “Then accept the punishment.”
I did.
Until I heard another student had also been using her phone during the same exam.
I went straight to the professor.
Me: “Why was she allowed to use her phone?”
Professor: “She had permission.”
Me: “Permission to break the same rule I was suspended for?”
He stared at me.
Professor: “Don't question my decision.”
Me: “Then show me where that permission came from.”
He ended the conversation.
That's when I requested the exam-room security footage.
