For the past few years I've offered a free 5-page website to a DEBUT author who doesn't yet have one, just because. I'd like to do that again this year - please share w/any debut groups, appreciate it! @2023Debuts @2024Debuts miratcreative.com
Painful to read because every bit rings true. Policy makers rarely acknowledge how untreated brain illnesses affect not only the ill person, but also all those around them - including children, who suffer irreparable damage/trauma from having to live with a psychotic parent.
“If my sister had cancer, or Parkinson’s or diabetes, she could get treatment. But because she is mentally ill, she is trapped in a reality distortion field from which she cannot escape without the medication she perversely refuses.” — Hilary de Vries nyti.ms/3CwydjX
Designing this website for @B_Yee09 reminded me of how much I love working with debut authors. Now offering one FREE 5-page custom-designed website to a debut author who doesn't yet have a site. Just because. Portfolio: miratcreative.com. @22Debuts @2022Debuts @2023Debuts

Well, it’s started.
Instead of being asked about how we improve our #COVID19 response in the coming months, doctors are being asked to comment on why people shouldn’t drink things like bleach or isopropyl alcohol.
This has to stop.
This is the problem.

Let's talk about the real-world of how "easy" it is to get tested and how "everyone who wants one can get one" and you will understand my anger at the Trump Administration.

So what's really going on here in NYC?
You're hearing conflicting information on who is tested, who is admitted, who goes home, and what's going on inside hospitals.
Let me shed some light. NYC ER docs are a small and collaborative community, so let me share the scoop:

"But medical workers are not self-identifying as heroes. Many, like my husband, feel like lambs being sent to slaughter." Thank you, @anna_wexler, for saying out loud what's really going through the minds of so many physician families. bostonglobe.com/2020/04/10/o…
