📯KOI POND CONTINUES THEIR STREAK INTO LB R4 📍ESEA Season 58: Open 9-10 Playoffs Koi Pond cleaned up OOO Canada 2-0 (13-7 13-5). Map 1 was the pond's pick: Mirage. A back-and-forth fight between both teams had Koi Pond run away with the map on the half switch. One chaotic round occurred where the Koi Pond's site would fall, B becomes open, but the bomb is dropped on Cat. Both OOO Canada players quickly have to scramble off the site to recover it. In the confusion, two kills for both sides come through, but @MinxyCS manages to come up clutch. The remaining half would result in only 1 round being converted by the opposition, with Koi Pond sealing Mirage away 13-7. The change of scenery would not hold the pond back on Cache as they would tear OOO Canada apart on their pick. Multiple multi-kill rounds by @RAVEN0U5 and leading-from-the-front @madssCS would finish the map and the series off, 13-5 OOO Canada will find themselves knocked out of the playoffs, finishing their season 25th-32nd, after two victories in the playoffs. Koi Pond continues to keep the dream alive with their third victory in the playoffs. With this win, they've locked up Intermediate, with a shot still to make it to Main. The games continue for Koi Pond on Wednesday at 8:30 PM ET against drunk cigs dont count.

📯THE FIRE NATION ATTACKS; CONQUERS A POND In the late hours of Thursday night, Team Fire Nation managed to vaporize Koi Pond after a barn-burner of a series. Both teams exchanged each other's map picks, with Koi Pond seizing FN's pick of Dust II (13-6). Map 2, on the other hand, was much more contentious, with a remarkable 5 eco rounds being converted for both teams combined. The brawl would end 13-10, sending the game onto the decider of Anubis. Both teams would open the game strong, and a 1v2 by @MinxyCS would look to move the game in favor of Koi Pond, but quick responses by Fire Nation would seal the game up 13-7. Koi Pond, with this loss, will drop into the lower bracket and be forced to play do-or-die games all the way to the final. Their prowess on Dust II, however, does show that there is still significant fight and coordination within the team, meaning a deep playoff run is still more than likely. Fire Nation's victory moves them forward to the upper bracket round 3 of Open9-10 Playoffs. Their resilience in this match and explosive playstyle may lend them to a few more upsets. It's unknown how far this team may go, but tonight's benchmark is also a big statement for their skill and potential future performance. Both teams will play again on Saturday @ 8:30 PM ET, with Koi Pond against Seed Inc and Fire Nation against The Kerbins.
