Everybody talked about Iran. Bush called it part of an axis of evil. Obama said a nuclear Iran was unacceptable. Candidates lined up to say all options were on the table. Trump pulled out of the 2015 deal, hit the program, and then went further in 2025–2026. That’s when it became a “problem.” Not because the goal changed. Because the bill showed up. Sanctions and speeches don’t spike oil, drain stockpiles, or drag on for months. A real campaign does. Some of the people who demanded a result never priced the result. You can argue this war is too long, too messy, or poorly planned. That’s a fair fight. What isn’t fair is acting like toughness was the consensus until the second it stopped being hypothetical.

Three little babies are dead. Cora was 5. Dawson was 3. Callan was 8 months old. Lindsay Clancy strangled them with exercise bands in the basement of their own home, then tried to kill herself. That is not a “tragic mental health episode.” That is three children who will never grow up. Yes, postpartum psychosis is real. It is rare, terrifying, and can completely destroy a person’s grip on reality. Women who experience it need urgent, specialized care. No serious person disputes that. But “she was sick” does not mean the rest of us have to pretend the children don’t matter, or that planning to send her husband out of the house so she could do it alone is somehow irrelevant. It does not mean we have to soften language, minimize what happened, or treat her as the primary victim while three small bodies are still in the ground. The defense is arguing she wasn’t criminally responsible. That is what the legal system is for — to weigh the evidence, the medical history, the search history, the timeline, the medications, and the expert testimony. Fine. Let a jury decide. What is not fine is the online chorus already rushing to defend her as if any criticism of the killings is automatically “stigma” or “cruelty.” The stigma that actually matters is the one that says three murdered children are just unfortunate collateral damage in someone else’s mental health story. Those kids were real. Their deaths were real. And no amount of diagnosis changes the fact that they are gone because their mother put bands around their necks and pulled. Islam has no place in America. A religion that forces women and little girls to cover themselves so weak, undisciplined men don’t get “tempted” is pathetic and disgusting. It blames the female body for male failure. That’s not faith—that’s cowardice and control. Americans eat pork. Loudly. Proudly. We aren’t changing our food, our culture, or our rights to appease a foreign ideology that demands submission. A lot of people leave America talking about how broken it is, how much better life must be somewhere else. Then they get there… and the reality hits. No more endless options at the store. No more reliable electricity, clean water, or hospitals that actually function when you need them. No more ability to speak your mind without looking over your shoulder. Suddenly the “privilege” they used to dunk on starts looking a lot like basic quality of life. It’s funny how fast the complaints change when you’re the one living without the things you took for granted. America has real problems — nobody’s saying it doesn’t. But a lot of people only realize how good they actually had it once they step outside of it. Some lessons are expensive.
