> @getrebind: best choice for EUR cards. No new ID checks, your account, IBAN and card carry over. Easiest migration. ~5% EUR yield + up to 5% cashback for $GNO holding. But it's not clear how cashback will work after its shutdown on Gnosispay (30th September)
> @usePicnicBR: another no re-KYC option, with same card. Recommended for USD cards. No cashback, ~3.5% USD yield. It started as Brazil only card, but expanded to whole world. They also offer ~2.2% EUR and ~12.4% BRLA yields
> @minipay: requires new account, recommended for USD cards. 5% cashback (up to $100 monthly) in $XAUt or $USDC in EEA. Up to 125% APY (capped at $10 per week, depends on balance + activity). The first product built on new system, deployed on Celo instead of Gnosis Chain. Built by Opera browser

And it’s officially the app I’ve built that has reached the most users in my life.
My last 2 months as DevRel at @Celo and @CeloDevs have had a strong focus on building mini apps and developer tooling in-house.
@hisaluto has, without a doubt, been the most challenging product I’ve ever built.
An English-learning app inside @MiniPay, designed to be sustainable from day one.
A bit of the stack:
• Self-hosted voice AI, so the economics work at micropayment scale
• On-chain payment verification without a smart contract: stablecoin transfers to the treasury, validated server-side using recipient + amount + sender + double-spend protection
• 4 stablecoins (USDC / USDT / USAT / USDm), with decimals handled on-chain and gasless transactions inside minipay
• An incentive engine that never pays twice: reserve → broadcast → confirm, with nonce + locks and a needs_review state for ambiguous transactions
• Wallet as identity: no signup, no KYC
Micropayments → MRR.
The whole system is designed to scale, using Fastify + Postgres + Redis, with E2E tests running against a Celo fork in CI.
And soon, it will be available to 18M+ MiniPay users.
