Lots of cool new stuff from @Desmos , check out what is new! #iteachmath
Sometimes, it helps to have a bit more confidence in those intersection points.
Investigate points of interest with up to 5 decimal places & copyable points, just in time for the new school year! 🎉

I know right! Either all math peeps look like Brad Pitt, or Brad Pitt looks like all math peeps. It does have a correlation coefficient of 1.
We do work in a profession that encourages "borrowing" of intellectual properties to help kids. Feel free to borrow my stuff as long as you tell everyone that the guy you got it from looks like Brad Pitt. 😀

Can I DM you to ask some more questions?

I just go back to my college geometry teacher who taught compass constructions. "Remember, thick lines cover a lot of inaccuracies." 😀
We need a quick video walking people through that process. @desmos should take the lead on this.

I've been told and just checked, that using an advanced Google search and using the site as teacher.desmos.com will work.
Hey @Amplify @desmos! Please revert the SEO Google search block for teacher created activities. Right now we can't find each other's awesome content. In the meantime, everyone share your @desmos collections. Teachers need access now! Monday comes quick!docs.google.com/presentation…
Don't know. Could be a house-of-cards scenario where one small adjustment in one area completely wrecks something else. I'm assuming positive intent that it will be rectified later. Right know we need to encourage everyone to share desmos collections. Monday comes quick!
Thankfully if you had previous links saved, you will be OK. However, the big problem is finding new, open source content. There is some amazing work done out there, and it now has become infinitely more difficult to find it.
OK. Short term fixes to help teachers right now. Everyone share collections. Here is the Texas Region 11 Desmos Resources. It is aligned to Texas TEKS, but it has activities for 4th grade to Pre-Calculus. docs.google.com/presentation…

Present goes straight to full screen. Student screen preview is a small window that pops up over the teacher page that you can expand. It looks a lot like a shortcut
