We’ve completed a reliability review of the MineBench desktop client, improving how it starts, stops and switches between Mining, Benchmark and Stress Test.
The focus was on making everyday use more predictable: handling interrupted sessions, preventing conflicts between runs and clearly marking outdated telemetry.
We checked the changes through automated tests and controlled desktop runs, without running real mining workloads.
The updates are in our development branch. Native Windows, macOS and Linux desktop testing remains ahead of release.

MineBench update: our miner account dashboard is implemented, locally tested and merged into main.
BMT app mining, Premium XMR app mining and direct XMRig now share an authenticated account view. Your own statistics are free in all three modes.
You can follow your workers, estimated 1h/24h hashrate, reward balances, recorded payout processing states and XMR → BMT conversion stages in one place.
Workers stay tied to their owner. Private history requires sign-in; knowing an address alone isn't enough. Missing, stale or incomplete data is labelled, and hashrate estimates are based on accepted work.
We built it to make each worker's activity and reward processing easier to follow.
Production rollout and live hardware validation for this update remain separate steps.

Bringing MacOS support back to MineBench.
We’ve prepared the GitHub Actions workflow for Windows, MacOS and Linux.
We’ve removed the bundled XMRig binary from MineBench’s client repository. The app code now points to official XMRig releases.
During app setup, the new flow will offer a separate XMRig download from official upstream. It requires explicit consent and verification before installation or use, installation won’t start mining.

MineBench was built as a real software product from the very beginning.
The app lets people benchmark a machine, start a mining workflow, see useful telemetry, and follow work and rewards through the web and wallet experience. BMT has a functional role in that journey: verified mining work can flow through conversion and become a claimable reward after settlement.
Behind that simple experience is years of engineering across desktop mining, pool infrastructure, accounting, wallet security and operational controls. Each layer has to agree on what work happened, who it belongs to and what can be settled.
Selected MineBench components are available for developers and researchers to inspect.
