Amen! It’s long overdue that we shift Title 1 funding from marginally trained aides to trained math coaches. Our mantra needs to be: One math coach for every two reading coaches and no more genetic coaches!

I just took @pwharris quiz. The final assessment was correct for how I began teaching. It wasn't until I had my own kids who struggled with math that I could see things different. I absolutely started my teaching career, teaching the way I had been taught because it worked for me
