.@cityoftoronto fails to make sense. The south end of this laneway is closed to traffic for construction for years. Yet, lends itself to a perfect enclave to host a patio and breath some life into this neighbourhood that desperately needs it. What is this the city’s priority?

After months of waiting we learned today @cityoftoronto has denied our #CafeTO patio at Bar Volo this year. We are disappointed by the news after having a patio for 3 years w. no issues. There needs to be more support for small businesses creating culture & community in our city!

Let me be very clear: Nobody should be taking a vacation abroad right now. If you’ve got one planned, cancel it - and don’t book a trip for spring break. We need to hang on and hold tight for the next few months, and get through to the spring in the best shape possible.
