J’ai entendu dire que la France était finie, qu’il était trop tard pour la sauver.
Mais la France est toujours aussi belle, enviable même. Sa grandeur n’a pas disparu, elle ne demande qu’à renaître.
Nous avons surmonté en un an un problème cent fois plus grave, sans avoir les moyens dont dispose la France.

‼️ On the case against Lebanon’s ambassador to the United States, Nada Hamadeh Moawad:
▪️Judge Claude Ghanem, the government commissioner to the Military Court, has decided to shelf the case brought by Hezbollah’s lawyer Hassan Bazzi.
▪️Shelving is not closing. Technically, it’s still on a shelf and when/if things change, the case can still be brought up and used against her.
▪️The problem is two fold:
1- The law that criminalizes communication between Lebanese and Israelis HAS TO BE AMENDED! It’s not the first or last time it’ll be used against Lebanese.
2- The military court has no business dealing with civilians. This HAS TO STOP. It’s not the first or last time the court will go after civilians.
▪️Trust me, I’ve been there. Got a six month prison sentence for speaking on a panel 🙄

The controversy over the land sale in Bikfaya/Baabdét is distracting us from the far greater danger unfolding elsewhere: in Koura, Baabda, Jezzine, Metn, and across the rest of Mount Lebanon.
حين طرحنا قضيّة الهجمة الممنهجة على العقارات في مختلف أنحاء جبل لبنان، في إطار ما نراه مشروعًا لتغيير الواقع الديموغرافي، جرى حرف الأنظار وحصر المعركة في بقعة جغرافيّة واحدة وصفقة واحدة ومستثمر واحد، بهدف تشويه القضيّة وتسخيفها وتضييع البوصلة.
لا تنجرّوا وراء هذه الحملة المشبوهة. فالمسألة ليست في صفقة بيع واحدة، بل في مشروع ممنهج يستدعي مواجهة شاملة.

📌 وبحسب المعلومات، اعتبر عيسى أن الإخبار المقدّم ضد سفيرة لبنان في واشنطن ندى حمادة معوّض تشكّل "إهانة" للجانب الأميركي، في ظل الجهود التي يبذلها المفاوضون لوقف التصعيد العسكري في لبنان

‼️ In an unusual development, one of the leading figures on Lebanon’s negotiating team with Israel is facing what could be seen as an attempt at intimidation.
Lebanese lawyer Hassan Adel Bazzi has filed a complaint against Lebanon’s Ambassador to Washington, Nada Hamadeh Moawad, following a September 27 report by Beirut Review alleging that she contacted the Israeli Ambassador to the United States to inquire about his son, who was injured in an attack in the West Bank.
According to Beirut Review, Lebanon’s Prosecutor General has referred the complaint to the Government Commissioner to the Military Court for appropriate legal action.
While the complaint may ultimately be dismissed or shelved, the broader concern is that similar actions could target anyone involved in negotiations with Israel, further complicating an already delicate diplomatic mission in a country marked by years of fear, intimidation, and political assassinations.
The development comes amid growing concerns over Hezbollah’s increasingly assertive posture. The group has announced the availability of funds, a claim disputed by the United States, with the State Department insisting that the purported money from Iran does not exist.
Meanwhile, Lebanese authorities have reportedly intercepted a shipment of explosives. Two suspected Hezbollah members allegedly smuggled the explosives in a truck from eastern Lebanon to Beirut’s southern suburbs.
Together, these developments underscore the complex challenges facing the Lebanese government as it seeks to strengthen state authority while navigating mounting political and security pressures.

De l’assassinat de René Moawad au 13 octobre 1990 : quand le Liban chrétien libre bascula dans les ténèbres.
من اسباب اغتيال الشهيد رينيه معوض المباشرة و هذا الاغتيال الذي حدث بتواطئ اقليمي ، هو ما حدث بعدها في 13 تشرين الاول 1990 .
كان رينيه معوض الرئيس المنتخب يرفض رفضاً قاطعاً ، العمل العسكري ضد (حالة العماد ميشال عون) الرئيس لاحقاً .
رينيه معوض كان يريد ان يدخل المسيحي الى اتفاق الطائف بقوته السياسية و العسكرية و مبدائياً كان يرى الرئيس معوض بأنه بحاجة للجيش و القوات الى جانبه ، بعدما أمن وقوف الرئيس الاسبق سليمان فرنجية زعيم المردة و الكتائب اللبنانية الى جانبه و البطريرك مار نصرالله بطرس صفير ، تأمن دعم القوات و سمير جعجع له ، تبقى دعم العماد ميشال عون و رئيس حزب الوطنيين الاحرار دوري شمعون و حراس الارز ، و كانت تجري لهذه الغاية مفاوضات مع جناب "الجنرال" من اجل تسليم قصر بعبدا و حماية الجيش و اعادة بنائه و تعزيز قدراته بمساعدة و اشراف الجنرال ميشال عون و ضباط اخرين .
و لكن كان لدى قوى الشر رأي اخر و كان لدى الجنرال ميشال عون ايضاً سلوكيات اقل ما يقال عنها انها هذيان سياسي .
استشهد رينيه معوض و جاء الى الحكم رئيس مطواع اسمه الياس الهراوي و اسقط الجنرال ميشال عون و سقطت المنطقة الحرة و غدر بداني شمعون و عائلته و خطف بطرس خوند و اعتقل سمير جعجع و نفي اتيان صقر و دخل المسيحيون في نفق الضعف .
الرحمة لشهداء الجيش اللبناني هؤلاء الشهداء الابطال من ضباط و افراد شهداء المقاومة اللبنانية و الرحمة للرئيس رينيه معوض و داني شمعون و عائلته .
و نكرر المطالبة بمعرفة مصير المفقودين في هذا اليوم المشؤوم .
يوم حزين جداً ...
