With Q1 ending we had our annual Cornhole for Kids event on Wednesday. It is ran by our Teaching Professions program and they did a great job of putting on the event! The fundraiser raise $3000+ and is a great culture builder as we work with our students on their career pathways.
Families just a reminder for the rest of the week. Have a great weekend and we will get back at working on our career pathways on Monday!
Students engaging with local companies like Astemo Findlay and learning from their professional instructors. Just a few of the benefits of a Millstream CTE program. Blessed to be a part of all of our students pathways!
We had the pleasure of sharing updates and our vision for the future with our 14 district superintendents earlier this week. We value their support and feedback as we work to educate all students and empower all communities by preparing students with the 5 E's on their pathway.
Had the opportunity to tour WFIN, WKXA, and 106.3 The Fox studios last week with a few awesome seniors. They got to see all the ins and outs of the shows and each stations setup. They even got to record a few radio spots. Listen in the future to hear their Millstream stories!
Millstream Career Center’s Manufacturing & Industrial Robotics seniors are the first students in the nation to participate in Whirlpool’s WASH (Whirlpool Apprenticeship Skilled Trades Hub), a direct pathway connecting students to Whirlpool’s skilled-trades apprenticeship program.
Students out in the workforce getting experience and growing as young people. Blessed to get to work with these smiling faces! Thank you to the University of Findlay for partnering with us.
On a summer night if you listen closely you can hear the crops grow. Likewise if you listen closely in our building you can hear our students learning and growing every day😁 #AGanalogy
We love being a part of 14 schools and the communities that are encompassed by these districts. Last week we had the opportunity to be a part of helping with a children's mentoring connection of Hancock County event. Thank you Chef Killian and the culinary team!
Yesterday we welcomed in our principals and counselors from all 14 compact schools. It was a great day to share information and gather feedback to better serve our students and educators. Thank you to all who attended. We look forward to more of these events in the future!
Yesterday our construction programs welcomed in Mike Homan from Wayne Builders Supply and Keith Young from the Ohio Masonry Association. They provided an excellent presentation on masonry industry standards and insights into the career field. Thanks for engaging our students!
Our Teaching Professions students had a successful competition week at Ed Rising at Capital University! Many national qualifiers!
Ava got Best Technical Skill at the Wright State Lake Campus Graphic Design Competition! Congratulations!
We enjoyed our Arcadia and Arlington students on the court, in the band and and cheering in the student section! Great game!
