I’d like to offer 3 other places besides Eugene that would absolutely have an average attendance much higher than 7,419 people
Just because Nike/Oregon bankrolls USATF doesn’t mean we need to keep hosting big meets in a small city in the most remote corner of the country

The vast majority of professional distance runners and coaches are ethical and believe in lifetime bans for positive drug tests.
The vast majority of agents are ethical and would never think of helping an athlete obtain PEDs
Agents and Coaches should be banned for a 2nd offense.

The running BOOM is alive and well. 💥
@nyrr announced that today’s 2025 @nycmarathon drawing will feature more than 200,000 applications — which is the most in the event’s history. Runners from more than 150 countries will learn if they got a bib for this year’s marathon on Nov. 2nd. They estimate about 2% to 3% of the applications will be accepted.
Last year’s NYC Marathon was the largest marathon in history with 55,643 finishers.
Those not selected via the lottery will have a chance to get a spot via charity programs, NYRR’s Team for Climate, a second-chance drawing for NYRR members and a sweepstakes.

Thank you for your support.
Russia illegally and unjustifiably invaded Ukraine.
For three years now, Ukrainians have fought with courage and resilience. Their fight for democracy, freedom, and sovereignty is a fight that matters to us all.
Canada will continue to stand with Ukraine and Ukrainians in achieving a just and lasting peace.

New Orleans is an almost perfect Super Bowl town: super walkable, great bar and restaurant scene, able to handle big crowds, tons of hotel rooms, great weather, fantastic people. Don’t think any city can beat it.

They do dumb stuff every year on the broadcast. Focusing on random celebrities (Gronk??), blurry screens, refusing to learn the names of elites, long periods of saying nothing.
A ~2 minute interview for the adaptive/para division winners isn't the problem. Good bait though.
A man is on 2:00 pace in Boston and an American woman is leading the race. Meanwhile on ESPN2.
