Representrative Lee, it has been time for a long, long time. We need a concise word for policies that do not achieve stated aims yet continue to be funded by both parties for decades. Not "failed" policies but VEILED policies achieving nefarious aims. @RepBarbaraLee
Congressman Roy thought his "rope and tree" allusion was an appropriate way to emphasize how Texans take justice seriously. Yep. Open mouth, insert foot up to the knee, then chew it off and swallow rather than acknolwedge and apologize for the gaff. 2022 cannot come soon enough.

Call Capitol switchboard (202) 224-3121. Be polite & concise. Say: "Please tell Senator [name] I demand he/she VOTE TO CONVICT Donald J Trump.”
Go to senate.gov/general/contact and find ways to contact the senator of your choice. Organize a demonstration near yourself -- your home, your street, the courthouse nearest you. Post pix and videos of it to your networks.
What good is "knowing the facts" if all it does is increase our sense of hostility and helplessness?
Why are those of us who want to see Trump convicted being silent? It is as if we are all waiting for the Senate to do whatever it does — which we all assume will NOT be what we want?
Why are we being the Silent Majority?
But we must not delay. Once our Senators have voted, the die will be cast. We and our future security and that of our loved ones and families will be irrevocably damaged. Weakened such that THE NEXT WOULD-BE TYRANT MAY NOT FAIL reducing us all under absolute despotism.
