So a Trumpist lawyer, Stefan Passantino filed a defamation suit, claiming that a tweet saying he coached a witness—Cassidy Hutchinson!—to lie harmed his professional reputation.
A federal judge not only dismisses the case, but concludes that “Ms. Hutchinson's statements indicate that Mr. Passantino repeatedly prompted Ms. Hutchinson to lie.”
Whoops. So much for Passantino’s reputation.

In 2023, atty Stefan Passantino sued @AWeissmann_ for defamation for posting that Passantino had “coached” Cassidy Hutchinson “to lie.” Resounding victory for Weissmann yesterday on pleadings: “The transcript, far from contradicting Mr Weissman’s statement, supports it.”
