📊 The 2016 Brexit electorate no longer exists.
Peter Kellner has updated the sums using YouGov and ONS data.
Since 2016:
🔹 Around 3.8m Leave voters have died, against 2.1m Remain voters.
🔹 Around 7m new voters have reached voting age, overwhelmingly pro-European.
🔹 Around 5m voters have changed their minds 👉roughly three-quarters of them moving from Leave to Rejoin.
His estimate of how Britain would vote now:
🇪🇺 REJOIN: 20.0m 👉 63%
🇬🇧 STAY OUT: 11.8m 👉 37%
A majority of almost 9 million.
Brexit happened. Britain has lived with it for a decade.
But democracy does not freeze the electorate in 2016 forever.
The question is what Britain wants now not what it indicated in 2016.
📊 The Brexit majority hasn’t just slipped 👉it’s vanished. Completely.
This chart from Peter Kellner/YouGov shows:
• 5 million 2016 voters have died
• New young voters back Rejoin by 5:1
• 29% of Leave voters now want to rejoin
• Net result: Rejoin 19.8m vs Stay Out 11.7m
➡️ An 8 MILLION majority for Rejoin.
Britain is now a pro-EU country.
The only people keeping Brexit alive are politicians who benefit from the damage.

The Pen That Saved Apollo 11 From Being A Permanent Moon Tomb.
When Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin returned to the lunar module after their historic moonwalk, they realized they had a catastrophic problem. While maneuvering inside the cramped cabin in his bulky spacesuit, Aldrin's life-support backpack had accidentally smashed into the wall.
The impact completely snapped off the vital circuit breaker switch needed to arm the ascent engine. Without that specific switch, the engine could not ignite, meaning the two astronauts would be permanently stranded on the lunar surface with no hope of a rescue mission.
With only hours of oxygen remaining and Houston control scrambling for a workaround, the situation seemed entirely hopeless. The engineers on Earth frantically tried to find a way to bypass the electrical system, but time was rapidly running out.
Exhausted and facing the very real possibility of dying 240,000 miles from home, Aldrin decided to take matters into his own hands. He began looking around the cabin for anything that could safely fit into the broken circuit breaker hole without conducting electricity and sparking a fatal fire in the oxygen-rich environment.
Aldrin reached into his shoulder pocket and pulled out a standard-issue felt-tip marker. Because the pen's casing was made of plastic, it would not short out the electrical contacts. He carefully jammed the end of the marker into the broken switch hole and pushed.
The circuit closed, the engine armed, and the lunar module successfully blasted off the moon's surface to reunite with Michael Collins in orbit. It turns out the greatest technological achievement in human history was ultimately saved by a piece of office stationery.

Appears to be absolutely MASSIVE protests all across the US yesterday and this platform is so skewed to the Trump/Putin side that this is the first I've seen or heard of it.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The montage uses recycled footage from larger 2025 and March 2026 No Kings protests, not Oct 17 2026 Vote Early events. Those were smaller localized gatherings (hundreds to thousands per city) focused on early voting, not the massive crowds shown.

Just go fucking vote.
And get ten of your family and friends to vote.
trump and GOP are going to try to suppress your vote. Find a way around it and overcome the obstacles they put before you.
That’s how you stick it to the man.
That’s how America wins.

The Times has pulled together the evidence of Russian activity around the 2016 referendum: Russia-linked social-media networks, bot activity, state media propaganda and the same wider interference techniques seen in other democracies.
But the most important point is still the one Parliament’s Russia Report raised in 2020:
Britain never properly investigated it.
Russia expert Keir Giles puts it starkly: the UK “carefully looked away from what was happening.”
That is why asking whether anyone can prove Russia changed the result misses the point. Before you can assess impact, you have to establish what happened.
And ten years later, Britain is still trying to answer that question.

A great man.
Most Victoria Crosses are awarded for a single act of courage. Leonard Cheshire's was awarded for four years of them.
He was a bomber pilot with the RAF, and by the end of his career he had flown more than 100 missions over occupied Europe, at a time when most bomber crews didn't survive 30.
In 1943 he took command of 617 Squadron, the famous Dambusters. Instead of marking targets from high altitude, Cheshire flew in at rooftop height in a small, fast plane, dove into the flak and searchlights, and dropped marker flares right on top of the target so the heavy bombers behind him couldn't miss.
He was awarded the Victoria Cross in 1944.
Then the story took a turn. In August 1945, Cheshire was chosen as Britain's official observer on the atomic bombing of Nagasaki. He watched the mushroom cloud rise from an American plane flying alongside the bomber.
It changed him. After the war, he took a dying former airman with nowhere to go into his own house and cared for him. That act grew into the Cheshire Homes, a charity that went on to care for disabled people around the world.
He spent the rest of his life on it. He died in 1992.

A historic video – November 22, 1994:
The U.S. President thanks Ukraine for giving up its nuclear weapons. In return, the U.S. promises to stand by Ukraine’s side to safeguard its independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity well into the future.
That future has arrived—yet today, Trump and his circle act as if none of this ever happened.

Former Head of MI6 Sir John Sawers, "Russia was very keen that the Leave campaign should succeed and that Britain should leave the European Union"
"Because that would marginalise Britain as a global player and weaken Europe in general"
"That's the strategic opportunity the Russians spotted, and the leaders of the Leave campaign fell into it"
My view: Former MI6 chief Sir John Sawers says Russia saw Brexit as a way to weaken Britain and divide Europe, and that the Leave campaign’s leaders walked straight into the opportunity.
So let’s remember who sold it:
VOTE LEAVE
• Boris Johnson — political figurehead
• Michael Gove and Gisela Stuart — campaign committee co-convenors
• Matthew Elliott — chief executive
• Dominic Cummings — campaign director
• Daniel Hannan — leading Brexit advocate
• Priti Patel, Iain Duncan Smith, Chris Grayling, John Whittingdale and Theresa Villiers — senior Conservative campaigners
• David Davis, Liam Fox, Dominic Raab, Steve Baker and Douglas Carswell — prominent Leave campaigners
LEAVE. EU
• Nigel Farage — leading political figure
• Arron Banks — co-chairman and major funder
• Andy Wigmore — communications director
GRASSROOTS OUT / LABOUR LEAVE
• Peter Bone and Tom Pursglove — Grassroots Out co-founders
• Kate Hoey — Grassroots Out co-founder and Labour Leave campaigner
• Graham Stringer, Kelvin Hopkins and Roger Godsiff — Labour Leave campaigners
• Sammy Wilson — prominent DUP Leave campaigner
They promised Brexit would make Britain stronger.
Sawers says Russia saw the opposite opportunity: a Britain marginalised and a Europe weakened.
