the official tc autopsy is out.
hacker churned in as a node, exploited GG20 to leak the key shards, assembled the full private key locally. their "proactive solvency checker" didn't even trigger because the hacker didn't use their signing process. they just took the $10.7m and walked out the front door.
guess Thorchain is still considering staying on GG20. personal opinion? pure madness.

Before stealing $9.8M from #THORChain, likely attacker-connected wallets spent weeks moving its own funds through Monero, Hyperliquid, and THORChain. On-chain activity ties them to the wallet that would later receive millions of stolen funds.
