Real Human Lyrics
You can take all the tea in China
Put it in a big brown bag for me
Sail right around the seven oceans
Drop it straight into the deep blue sea
She's as sweet as tupelo honey
She's an angel of the first degree
She's as sweet as tupelo honey
Just like honey from the bee
You can't stop us on the road to freedom
You can't keep us 'cause our eyes can see
Men with insight, men in granite
Knights in armor bent on chivalry
She's as sweet as tupelo honey
She's an angel of the first degree
She's as sweet as tupelo honey
Just like honey from the bee

Chuck Berry would have turned 100 today. His list of accomplishments includes the first year inductee to the R&R HOF.
I'm gonna find myself a girl
Who can show me what laughter means
And we'll fill in the missing colors
In each other's paint-by-number dreams

ROCK AND ROLL IS: There's a kid out there who just heard Jimi Hendrix, or Eddie Van Halen, or Jimi Page, the list goes on for the first time and now begging their parents for their first guitar....
That's Rock and Roll 🤘

An angel sits inside a tank, dreaming things that may or may not change the world. Outside the tank, two individuals watch and converse over the fate of the person they both loved. What does fate have in store?

The angel of war had a fate no one would desire, but it worked behind the scenes and shaped the world as a whole. But what happens when it makes a decision outside of its programming?
More real human lyrics from John Moreland:
There was a time I thought I could make the pain stop
I ran every way but forward, I made a flood out of a rain drop
And you don't know how much I've been thinking bout you
Well you still got your nostalgia, and I got my wandering mind
I am a visitor
Everywhere I go, I am a visitor
Well I don't need much
But a healing touch
I am a visitor
The city's getting bigger, while the world is getting smaller
I made a ransom note to heaven, I made a dime out of a dollar
And my half measures, well they thrashed me half to death
So you just hang on to your half truths cause I got enough regrets
I am a visitor
Everywhere I've been, I am a visitor
Well I don't need much
But a healing touch
I am a visitor
Times are anything but kind
I've been dreaming like there's
Something there of meaning I could find
But lost and found, round and round I go
Doing every bit I can with what little bit I know
I am a visitor
I've been stoned and scared of my reflection
I can see your shifty smirk from the depths of my depression
But I will not be your puppet or your payment
Your easy entertainment, for I've made amends to me
I am a visitor
On this lonely earth, I am a visitor
Well I don't need much
But a healing touch
I am a visitor
Should musicians try to innovate or communicate when they write songs? Is the job description to do something no one’s done and push various limits or is it to use music to convey essential human truths? If you can do both, the world will call you a genius.
Real human lyrics:
I've seen the morning burning golden on the mountains in the skies
Aching with the feeling of the freedom of an eagle when she flies
Turning on the world the way she smiles upon my soul as i lay dying
Healing with the colors of the sunshine and the shadow of her eyes
Waking in the morning to the feeling of her fingers on my skin
Wiping out the traces of the people and the places that i've been
Teaching me that yesterday was something that i never thought of trying
Talking about tomorrow and the money love and time we'd have to spend
Loving her was easier than anything i'll ever do again
Coming close together with a feeling that i've never know before, in my time
She ain't afraid to be a woman or afraid to be a friend
I don't know the answer to the easy way she opens every door in my mind
Dreaming was as easy as believing it was never gonna end
Loving her was easier than anything i'll ever do again
Consider this applied to music. Is real, maxed-out human music the only way to beat AI? Lots of human-made slop out there, that’s for sure.
Everyone keeps blaming writers for using AI, but no one ever blames the literary establishment for glorifying soulless, minimalist slop written by humans.
The reason AI-generated stories keep winning literary awards is because the literary establishment has spent decades rewarding pretentious yet empty metaphors, emotional detachment, and soulless minimalist phrases—the exact qualities that define AI prose.
Real human beings write with tonal variation and emotion. These real humans would be winning awards if the literary establishment changed their ways and took them seriously.
The best way to fight AI writing is to bring back literary maximalism and writing with a human soul.
Music is always a quest.
It’s a quest for the next song, the next inspiring piece of gear, and for the truth about yourself.
What has your questing turned up this week?
This.
Every artist, musician, producer or engineer needs an AI agent.
Not to make the music. Not to make the cover art. Not to replace the creative work.
To handle everything surrounding it:
emails, scheduling, follow-ups, lead tracking, invoices, contracts, file organization, release checklists, metadata, content repurposing, analytics, research, reminders and all the other admin bullshit that steals time from creating.
AI shouldn’t replace the artist.
It should replace the unpaid assistant you’ve been forced to be.
