Admiral William H. McRaven gave one of the best explanations for dealing with unfair situations I've ever heard.
Everyone has heard him talk about making your bed, but this story might be even better...
"Get over being a sugar cookie."
The Sugar Cookie Story:

Your role is different than your value.
Your role is what the team needs from you today.
Your value is what you bring every day.
You can count your minutes or make your minutes count.

The Autumn Wind is a pirate… Blustering in from the sea, swaggering boisterously, robbing the trees of their gold.
A villain big and bold — and a Raider through and through.
Written by Steve Sabol.
Voiced by the legendary John Facenda in 1974.
Still the most epic, spine-chilling battle hymn in football 50+ years later.

"What you need to know is We would have sent more"
“So in order to get out one, there were close to a hundred other service members involved in risking their lives on the ground.”
“I think what you need to know is we would have sent more to go get the back seater.”
This part made me cry.
Tens of thousands of unarmed Iranians, women and children included, were slaughtered by the Islamic regime in Iran for asking to be free.
America will send a hundred men, then more, to save one of its own.
The regime in Iran butchers its own people.
And that's the difference.

🚨 THIS IS WHAT A REAL AMERICAN WARRIOR LOOKS LIKE 🇺🇸
Shot down over IRAN.
Parachute shredded in the missile strike.
Looks up…
NO CHUTE.
Free-falling 70-100 mph toward enemy mountains with a broken back coming.
He doesn’t panic.
He PAUSES.
And prays:
“Lord, Your will be done. But if I’m getting through this… I NEED HELP.”
Then he fights the chute with his bare hands the whole way down.
Hits the ground like a freight train.
Broken back. Broken arm. Broken shoulder.
Still crawls away. Still hides. Still evades Iranian forces for TWO DAYS with no food or water.
Calls it a “modern-day miracle.”
THIS is the kind of man who wears the uniform.
THIS is faith under fire.
THIS is why we win.
RT if this gave you chills. 🔥🇺🇸

Ahead of the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, 2,977 drones lit up the sky over New York Harbor, each representing a life lost on that tragic day.
This breathtaking tribute stands as a solemn reminder of America’s resilience and the extraordinary courage of the heroes and first responders who gave everything.
To the victims, their families, and all who served: We will never forget.

At exactly 9:11 AM, more than 30 Times Square billboards changed together, replacing their advertisements with a tribute for one minute of silence.
Twenty-five years later, in one of the loudest places in New York City, the city paused to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001.
Twenty-five years later, some moments are impossible to forget.
On the eve of the 25th anniversary of September 11th, former President George W. Bush visited FDNY Ladder Company 3 on Thursday—the firehouse whose apparatus was so badly damaged in the collapse of the World Trade Center that it never returned to service. Today, that rig is preserved at the 9/11 Memorial & Museum.
President Bush spoke with members about the days and years that followed the attacks.
The bullhorn speech at Ground Zero. That unforgettable first pitch at Yankee Stadium. And the people who stood together when our city—and our country—needed them most.
A quarter-century has passed, but the memories remain. #NeverForget
