I am a #Canadian and Junior Sergeant in the Armed Forces of #Ukraine.
Yesterday META suspended my Facebook account with 51,000 followers and deactivated my Instagram with almost 30,000 followers.
When my Facebook was reinstated there was no violation flagged only restrictions to posting and commenting for 30 days, a restriction on groups for 1 year, and Marketplace is restricted.
I can no longer sign in on the laptop, it flags my own laptop as suspicious activity even if I confirm it from mobile app.
@Meta and @instagram has not yet replied to any of my attempts to contact them.
They are suppressing the voices of people from around the world.
A brief review of recent technical “errors” at Meta:
1. Restricting the Facebook pages of Brazilian president Lula who is in a runoff election against a Trump-favored candidate
2. Shutting down the pages of Albanians protesting Jared Kushner’s plans to build a luxury resort in the country
3. Rejecting ads for a documentary critical of Elon Musk
4. Shutting down the No Kings instagram page in the middle of a major anti-Trump protest

Dear Europe,
I’m not asking you to think about Ukraine every minute.
Just please don’t forget us when the headlines become boring.

Perhaps it didn’t make the news in your media.
Yesterday, russia damaged the Book Chamber of Ukraine in Kyiv.
It holds 15+ million books, newspapers, magazines and maps published in Ukraine since 1917.
The collections are now at risk from moisture. Windows in the storage areas were blown out.

Trump is too stupid to come up with ideas aside from golf courses and arches...But I don't think his idea about Greenland and Canada came from him; it came from others. For about two years, he has been saying that he needed Greenland because of security and national interest, because he would fear-monger the cult about China and Russia taking over the Arctic. Still, now, buddy is basically handing over things to Russia and China on a silver platter, sorry or trying to, if things continue as they are right now. Yes, the Chinese and the Russians will be buzzing around the Arctic because Trump gave the blessing... Is Trump dangerous? Yes, but the people behind him whispering in his ears are the most dangerous. Peace out

Eggs are the closest thing to a multivitamin you’ll ever scramble.
Wanna spend less? Eat eggs. 🥚
Wanna improve your health? Eat eggs. 🥚
Wanna skip the pharmacy aisle? Eat eggs. 🥚
Complete protein, choline for your brain, zero seed oils, and the cost is affordable.
Your body knows.

He amputated his own legs with a knife, held his position alone for a year and a half—and then a drone came to take him away.
This was the first rescue of its kind in human history.
Imagine a concrete pipe in a contested, near-occupied territory. There were two such pipes; eventually, only one remained. He was left without legs, with no hope that anyone would come for him—and so it went, month after month.
Konstantin Vlasenko, from Kryvyi Rih, went to war of his own volition—he had waited a long time for his call-up.
He was stationed at a position known as "Vertyun"—a concrete pipe rigged with decoys.
He and a comrade-in-arms held the position for months, until one day, his comrade died—on his 50th birthday, February 16th.
Konstantin was left alone.
The enemy knew he was there. They dropped a canister containing a note: "Surrender; your 'brotherhood' won't save you. A white drone will come to take you home."
Konstantin gave a pragmatic reply—the same one famously directed at a Russian warship—and held his ground.
Then, his own body began to fail. His left foot was mangled, and his right was severely damaged.
His legs began to atrophy. His left foot rotted away on its own. He amputated his own leg—using a knife, resting the limb against a brick.
He recalls: "Tears came. I had to cut. So, I cut."
He even joked with his commander: "Congratulations to me—no more flat feet, and I don't have to worry about my size 44 shoe size anymore."
When the weather warmed, he crawled toward where his legs had once been. And he saw that butterflies were in bloom—orange with black.
"I think: God, my legs have produced butterflies, too."
This is like something out of Stephen King—and it’s not a metaphor. It was a book by King—*The Outsider*—that his wife had sent him in a parcel. He kept it with him, alongside thoughts of his daughter, Christina.
And then, something happened that had never occurred in any war in history.
A drone flew in to retrieve him—alive.
The operator dropped an instruction manual; the drone landed, secured itself with a carabiner, signaled "all good" and a heart shape to the camera—and took off.
He feared only one thing: being captured, or falling into the water—since he didn't know how to swim.
Other drones provided cover—one of them was shot down by the enemy. But he made it.
491 days at the front. Two amputated legs. For the first time in history, a drone saved a soldier.
And the man himself—who doesn't yet consider himself a hero—says: "I don't like being the first; I’d rather be the second."
He is alive. He is back on solid ground. And this story now belongs to eternity—forever.

You might think it’s weird that Blue Jays Dad is sharing lipid numbers on Twitter, but I’m doing it to help people.
If you haven’t already, ask your doctor for an Lp(a) (L-P little a) test on your next bloodwork—no matter your age.
It’s a genetic cardiovascular risk marker most standard panels miss.
Levels are set by your genes, don’t change much with lifestyle, and you only need it once.
A lot of doctors still don’t order it unless you specifically request it.
You’re stuck with what your parents handed you.
Better to know. ❤️
Due to my test result, my new doctor has scheduled a coronary artery calcium (CAC) test for me in early December.

Dan Rather spots trouble Trump can't avoid much longer: 'Subject is bound to come up'
"Most Americans don’t want to think about it, but in the background of these developments is this: Article III, Section 3 of the Constitution defines treason against the United States as 'levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.' By any objective measure, lifting Russian sanctions is giving aid and comfort to an enemy," Rather argued.

My 80-year-old neighbour ran out of her blood pressure medication three days ago because she couldn't outsmart an AI voice tree.
She called the pharmacy:
“Press 1 if you have the app. Press 2 to receive a text link. Say 'Refill' to speak to the digital assistant.”
She kept repeating, “I just need my pills, dear.”
The automated system told her: “I didn't understand that response,” looped three times, and hung up on her.
She didn't want to bother her kids at work, so she just started cutting her remaining pills in halves, then in quarters, trying to stretch them. When I checked on her this morning, her blood pressure was 195/110 and she was so dizzy she couldn't stand.
I drove down to the store, stood at the counter, and had the refill in four minutes.
The pharmacist told me: “Corporate cut our phone staff last year to push customers toward the mobile app.”
If a senior citizen has to risk a stroke because your board of directors wanted to trim payroll with an automated phone loop, your business model is predatory. Full stop.
