I rented 6 tables out to this guy for the weekend. He lives 8 minutes away, he asked if I didn’t mind picking them up. He messaged me and said I have a 100 dollar bill for you, I told him I’m on my way. Easiest money I have made all weekend

I spent the weekend with family. It was wonderful. Today was supposed to be a day of rest, but I just couldn’t help myself.

I started flipping couches a year and 10 months ago. My neighbor drove me over an hour to help me load up a couple sectionals, before I head to work later this afternoon. He was more than happy to help, as he has discovered the benefits of reselling also. This load is a part of a truckload of furniture I am sharing with @resellerrowe learning every step of the way.

Sunday Free pick-up.

Scarcity mindset will get you nowhere. Relationships will take you further than keeping your "secrets" ever will. People have told me, "Mike, you're giving away all your secrets. There won't be enough furniture left for you." My garage is full. I have yet to run out!!! I'm pretty good at sourcing, but one of my secret weapons started with strangers. I post on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. I share what I know, provide value and don't gatekeep the very thing people told me to keep to myself. Now I have a handful of people in my community messaging me all the time about furniture. People who want to help. Some have even given me pieces. All because I took the time to build relationships. Sharing what I know didn't leave me with less. It brought more people into my corner. Relationships are my secret weapon. It's just not so secret. There's enough. Stop worrying about who might benefit from what you know. Help somebody. Build relationships. Follow along and I'll show you what's possible with furniture flipping.

Busy Saturday morning, my neighbor who used to give me a hard time is now flipping furniture in his driveway, and their son who watched me on Tik Tok has flipped over a 100 pieces. I’m not mad about it, I welcome it. Meanwhile I had 2 people show up at the same time in my driveway. I can’t make this stuff up, what have I created? Friday morning pick-up. $100 dollar find 5 minutes from my house. Sometimes it is that easy.

Thursday in the driveway. The lady swore up and down this piece was green. I wasn’t going to argue with her for 25 bucks. Got it listed for 299 quick sale. Microfiber and a vacuum make great lines. Wrapped things up just before the rain hit.

October marks 30 years as a weather guesser. It was nice to be recognized for the work. Honestly flipping couches and the relationships I’ve built has been far more rewarding. I am blessed to be able to do Both.

Wednesday in the driveway. Amazing what some whal clippers and a fabric shaver can do for a couch. Loose ends and pilling are common issues, but with a little work, can make a piece like new.

Saturday in the driveway.
