This is October 7. The KiIIing Roads. A raw documentary — with never-before-seen footage.
If they could endure it, you can bear witness to it.
My friend, filmmaker Igal Hecht, has made @TKR_movie free.
Schools should share this.
So should you. xitter.cf/DahliaKurtz/status/197…

Good on @TorontoStar for investigating this.

Bill Maher rips the media’s FlyDubai coverage: “The media is always a little reluctant to call it terrorism when it's obviously terrorism.”
“The original reporting was the two pilots had an altercation. Yeah, they had a little argument. ‘I think we should crash the plane. You don't.’ Agree to disagree.” 🔥😂

I'm a journalist. And I happen to be Jewish. On Yom Kippur I went to a synagogue service in Toronto and was met by protesters trying to taunt and intimidate me from entering the building. 1/5

Michigan's Democrat Governor, Gretchen Whitmer, is threatening to cut off energy to Ontario and Quebec.
This is the most read piece at the Toronto Sun's website in the last 24 hours.
Lots of coverage in Michigan, very little in Canada aside from this.

Had a meeting yesterday with a European economist who's also a good friend.
Me: "In Canada, we're bailing out wealthy condo developers while crowdfunding renovations for our Prime Minister's official residence."
Her: "I thought Europeans were the socialists."

This is a great example of how Canadians are misinformed about food prices (see link).
The media turns to a Liberal economist who no longer conducts research in the sector, has no access to grocery pricing data, and offers little more than speculation (and is always wrong). In this case, higher tomato prices are conveniently blamed on Trump-related trade issues, despite little evidence to support that claim.
When commentary replaces data and assumptions replace analysis, Canadians are left with a distorted understanding of what's really driving food prices. globalnews.ca/news/11915845/…

🚨 Big Tech just saved Canadians from their own government.
Here’s what Bill C-22 would have done to your phone. 👇
📌 The Liberal bill would force companies to build technical backdoors into encrypted devices - giving government access without a judge’s approval.
📌 Secret orders. No judicial oversight. No transparency with users. Ministers could compel compliance unilaterally.
📌 User metadata retained for up to one year. Mandatory.
Then Big Tech showed up.
📌 Apple to Parliament: “When you build a backdoor into an encrypted device - anyone can walk through.”
📌 Google: Bill C-22 “goes well beyond lawful access regimes in other G7 democracies.”
📌 Meta: The bill would make WhatsApp and Messenger “an extension of the government’s surveillance apparatus.”
📌 Signal, NordVPN, ExpressVPN, Windscribe, ProtonVPN all threatened to leave Canada entirely if it passed.
📌 Apple pointed to the 2024 Salt Typhoon cyberattack on US systems - which exploited the exact same “lawful access” infrastructure Carney wants to build here.
“That law was narrower than Bill C-22. Imagine what could happen here.”
Think about that. 👆
The Chinese government hacked US systems through a legal backdoor Washington created.
Carney wants to build a bigger one. In Canada.
And he didn’t ask you. 🤐
This isn’t about catching criminals.
If it was - they’d require a judge.
This is a government that funded $1.4B in CBC propaganda, appointed 740 judges, captured 105 senators —
And now wants a backdoor into your phone. 📱
Without a warrant. 👇
Apple and Google did more to protect Canadian civil liberties this month than the Liberal Party has in 10 years.
Let that land. 🇨🇦

This is pathetic. Either he is kissing Trump's ass for trade concessions - or he really is indifferent to Israel's extinction.
Mark Carney calls Trump's Iran peace deal a 'game changer'.
“I have to say it exceeded my expectations,” the PM said during an interview on CNN’s The Source with Kaitlan Collins. “We’re very pleased with the deal that’s been struck” nationalpost.com/news/canada…

"Canadians shouldn't kid themselves. The food security plan coming from Carney won't guarantee lower food prices—it simply can't.
Supporting independent grocers and food hubs is a sensible step, but it's still unclear how these measures will make supply chains more efficient rather than simply subsidizing parts of the industry.
Food affordability ultimately depends on productivity, competition, investment, and efficient supply chains—not government spending alone."
