An off-duty cop was working security at a North St. Louis County business at 2:30 a.m.
Two 20-year-old women allegedly took him down.
Court documents say Nayonna Griffin, 20, threw items at him. When he approached, Shania Lewis, 20, allegedly threw him to the ground and punched him over and over.
Griffin allegedly stomped on his head.
Lewis allegedly grabbed for his gun. It stayed in the holster. Thank God.
When backup arrived, Griffin allegedly kept pulling his hair, kicking and trying to run.
The officer went to the hospital.
Both are charged with felony assault and felony resisting arrest. $100,000 cash-only bond each.

You claimed the protestor touched you before any contact even occurred. You approached someone who was injured on the ground, receiving care. They could not have been a threat to you.
These is clearly without a legal purpose.
