I 1000% agree with this. Private apologies make sense when something happened in a more intimate setting. This was not an intimate situation, this was a nuclear bomb. How many people can say they’ve sent or received some kind of emotional message late at night? The argument I’m seeing for the post time is silly, that’s not an unusual thing. I read everyone’s Google Docs, including the thousand pages. There are faults on many sides and I find it unfair to see an apology be seen as them being 100% in the wrong when many of us will never know the full context because we were not there every moment something happened. We only know what was shared or argued, left to our own interpretations. People should be to be open to hearing an apology. It doesn’t mean you have to forgive or forget, but you should look at it as a next step. An apology can go a long way. Sinder and everyone else involved are very capable people. How they navigate the choices they’ve made and move on is theirs.
