Reminder that Notre Dame quit their bowl game because they thought they were too good to play BYU.

Friendly reminder that with a 24 team playoff, all of the great drama of today will be irrelevant.

It was 15 years ago when we lost Dan Wheldon to a multi car accident at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Here was the tribute from ESPN.

Indiana fans spent decades as the punchline of college football, then one fluky, portal-fueled run turned them into the most delusional fanbase in the sport, LMAO!
They won a single national championship. ONE, in a century-plus of existence. And somehow that was enough for them to start measuring themselves against the Ohio States and Alabamas of the world, as if a single outlier season erases 700-plus losses and generations of irrelevance, LOL🤭
They entered last year as the second losingest program in the history of the sport and only surrendered that distinction to Northwestern because they managed not to lose for a stretch. That's it, that is the resume. Not tradition. Not sustained excellence. Not multiple titles across eras. ONE championship, and suddenly they believe they belong in the conversation with programs that have defined the sport for decades, LOL. So cute...

Don't know if it's already known but a crew member told me that this was an idea Kyle Washington wanted to do because of the Buc-ee's near Barber at the last race. Buc-ee's is not an actual sponsor on the car, but they are aware of it and signed off on them running it.
In a perfect world we'd be starting eliminations at noon or 1 and finishing the finals at night.
Saw where one old dinosaur was complaining about night qualifying (I guess it’s hard for old racers to stay up til 8 p.m.). Based on the feedback we got, fans still think @NHRA header flames are cool. What do you think? As my friend @Kenny_Wallace would say… respond right here 👇
