this josei rejuvenated my soul, it’s about a woman in her 30s struggling with her identity so she gets on a dating app and matches with a handsome woman who teaches her how to accept herself. it’s not explicitly yuri (yet) but i ship them and she forms bonds w other women as well

Kiwi chicks first night out, still a little unsteady but this was filmed a week ago. Dad hatched 2 chicks 2 weeks apart and dad is still fussing over the younger one. This is on my neighbours place.

Gijinka for Goodra! I like to imagine her as a pretty strong and cute gym girl, What should we name her?

It’s extinction today & utopia tomorrow folks, just flip a coin. Utopia if you give them 💰 extinction with those pesky open weight models.
Ppl dying from data center pollution? School bombings using their software? Massive theft? Small price for utopia we’ll get any day now.
Dario Amodei: We may be only two or three years away from AI systems being better than humans at almost all tasks.
“I call it a country of geniuses in a data center.”
“Imagine tens of thousands of geniuses, smarter than a Nobel Prize winner across many fields.”
“They could cure diseases and extend the human lifespan.”
“I wouldn’t be surprised if we were able to double the human lifespan.”
“They may even build robots for themselves and project themselves into the physical world.”
“There are all kinds of questions around the balance of power.”

The zoo is a maybe next year dream. THE ZOO.
Baby you are poor. You don’t want to accept it because you’re “hardworking” lol. Poor people are hardworking.
YOU ARE POOR.

If we were starving, I would, but we're fine, and we've worked really hard to get here. This just hits hard because I love the zoo, and it's been a "maybe next year" dream for four years.

Leave it to spd to shoot a dead guy blocking traffic
#Seattle, Oct 12, 2026, 12:00 PM hour. Massive police response outside Swedish Ballard Hospital 5300 Tallman Ave NW. Access to hospital blocked for about an hour. Reason: person in driver seat of a truck near emergency entrance slumped over with head on steering wheel. A witness passing by said it appeared to be an older man. Seattle Police treated it as a high-risk traffic stop. Lots of officers, shields, careful approach. After hailing and shooting vehicle with 9mm non-lethal rounds no response. SPD moved in and found the man deceased in the driver's seat.

I'm a tech girlie of so I just naturally require the purchase of a micro SD cards and SSDs here and there, and it's just so disappointing how unaffordable they're getting because of AI and corporate greed. Tech was already a cost-prohibitive hobby already but like you could still

its true, my brother needed paediatric occupational therapy for fine motor delay when he was a kid and the therapist told my mum exactly this. dressing and undressing a barbie will develop fine motor skills in a way that pushing a toy car around doesn't

Thread about history of how euthanasia came to be called "MAiD" in Canada and the degree to which Quebec & federal fears of Constitutional messiness have shaped MAiD nationally all along.
Please pay more attention to @JuriScience & less to podcasters v sycophants/propagandists

Yes the motivation was to “soften” the act, make it sound nicer. In QC the Commission spéciale sur la question de mourir dans la dignité, instrumental in getting the ball rolling, wrote a report stating explicitly: “euthanasia” makes people uncomfortable.

The Border Patrol & DHS have officially destroyed the last grandmother cottonwood tree on O’odham lands.
The tree was older than the United States.
