Make no mistake about it--these are not "student protests" demanding better education.
This is Islamic terrorism seeking to destroy the Christian identity of Europe & the West at large.

🚨HISTORY: JJ McCarthy came into the game with 11 minutes left and the Giants down 34-10. He cut the lead to 34-27 and nearly tied the game.
He threw for 243 yards. The MOST in an 11 minute span in NFL HISTORY. WOW

I see a lot of people trashing Boomers and mocking Ray for complaining about property taxes, insisting those taxes are necessary to fund local services.
But I'm ALREADY paying state and county income taxes. Why am I ALSO paying property taxes when much of that money goes toward funding many of the same local services?
Here's my bigger issue: Why am I being taxed on the increased value of my home when I haven't actually made a dime from that increase? Some government assessor decides what they THINK my house is worth, and suddenly I owe more? Where exactly is that extra money supposed to come from?
I haven't sold my house. I haven't realized a profit. Why not base property taxes on what I actually PAID for my home instead of some hypothetical market value?
And I'm not even going to get into the fact that I pay out of pocket to homeschool my kids while still paying taxes to support a bad public school system we don't use. That's a discussion for another day.
@RonDeSantis is right about property taxes.
You shouldn't have to pay the government rent on a home you already own. Enough already.
“I’m old. I’ve paid my home off,” said Ray Warner, a 72-year-old Akron resident. “Why would I pay property tax?”
Across the country, homeowners are asking the same question and revolting against property taxes at a scale not seen in a half century.

🚨 UPDATE: Sen. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) is facing calls to resign after she publicly called for the persecution of Trump allies to intimidate young conservatives against participating
WHAT A DEEP STATE CROOK!
She dreams of it: "I want young people to be like, lord, that may buy myself a ton of problems I don't want, so let me avoid participating. I want deterrence."
She's not talking about anyone accused of a crime. She's talking about kids fresh out of college deciding whether to take a job in a lawfully elected administration
Her plan is "signature cases" against "the people who enabled him," because, in her words, they "have no immunity the way the president does"
She wants teenagers to be scared of tyrants like her!

"When you weaponize the DOJ against political opponents, it's a threat to democracy. When we do it, it's a virtue!" - Elisa Slotkin perfectly lays out the Democrats' platform.
Spare me the pearl-clutching — especially from Republican Members of Congress and online MAGA grifters who have cheered President Trump's weaponization of the government against those he doesn’t like, as recently as last week. This is a subject I know something about: Less than a year ago, Trump directed the DOJ and FBI to investigate me, and then tried to criminally indict me for a 90 second video, exercising basic free speech. The same free speech you’re exercising now, lying about what I said in this clip. If not for an anonymous group of grand jury members standing up for America's laws, I’d be criminally indicted for sedition. President Trump has turned the government against people, with raucous support from you and virtually all D.C. Republicans. So spare us the manufactured outrage.
America must be a place where the rule of law still matters. Those laws should apply to everyone equally. If you have aided in the corrupt use of U.S. taxpayer dollars to benefit the President or his family, or you have violated the law in order to carry out guidance from the President, you should be held accountable. And given how rampant that corruption appears to the average American, people looking to work for his Administration should realize that while the Supreme Court has granted the President immunity, it has not done the same for those who do illegal things at his behest.

Mostly peaceful and totally organic student protests by people who are very clearly not students. This is the democrats vision for America as well. Don’t France our America.
Let me fix that tweet for you:
1. The people rioting in Paris are criminals who are committing crimes.
2. Destroying hard-working people’s businesses is evil and not a valid form of protest.
From the high schools of France to the streets of Madrid to the universities of Tirana, young people are telling their governments the same thing: in an age of massive wealth inequality, they want a future they can believe in.
In France, students and teachers are asking for safe schools, enough teachers and smaller classes.
In Spain, for affordable rent and housing.
In Albania, for good jobs and an end to corruption.
@JDVance says this is what happens when a nation lets in too many immigrants from the global south.
He is not just morally wrong, but misreading the moment.
The is what happens when nations let wealth and power accumulate in the hands of a few.
This is what happens when young people lose hope in their future.
In America, let us listen to our young.
We need an economic and political transformation.
