Back in 2014, there was a man who was already aware of the irregularities involving Manchester City. That man now runs FIFA. The infamous Gianni Infantino, then UEFA General Secretary, abused his authority, shared confidential documents and, in short, outmanoeuvred the Investigatory Chamber, doing everything in his power to ensure that both Manchester City and PSG would merely receive a fine, avoiding a deeper investigation that could have led to a Champions League ban. All of these details were also revealed through Football Leaks.
Given his actions as UEFA General Secretary and, more recently, as FIFA President, I can only say, in my humble opinion, that Gianni Infantino has become a cancer on football and should have no place in the future of the game.

Millions of football fans of other clubs have been denied special moments while this has been going on. Trophy wins, celebrations, European trips, memories with loved ones.
The essence of what being a football fan is all about, robbed by systematic cheating.
Players denied medals, managers denied legacies. How many people have lost jobs because of it??
It's tough to even find a punishment big enough that this all deserves.

Martinelli gave Arsenal some incredible moments. The noise and celebrations when he scored that late winner against City at the Emirates in 2023, the bedlam in the away end at Stamford Bridge and last season’s equaliser against City. But that moment in the Bernabeu, for anyone who was lucky enough to be there, was so, so special. As was what followed afterwards. His chant rung through the streets of Madrid all night after that game.
A superb servant to the club, who gave everything while he was here. He felt like an honorary Hale End graduate.
Hope he gets the chance to come back to the Emirates at some point.
This is the most painful departure from the club I’ve felt in years. It genuinely hurts. I shed a few tears as well. Wish you nothing but the best, always.❤️

Ahead of the Champions League draw later, I built something to help football fans find cheap flights to European destinations. It's a website which lets you search by football team, and then allows you to pick a radius around start and end destinations.

Just won the league and doing this. Can’t understand it.
New: Arsenal preparing bid for Ezri Konsa. Thought to be significant gap in valuation between the clubs at this stage. Konsa has two years left on Villa deal and signing an extension can't be ruled out. More @MailSport
Tears in my eyes.💔
I'm absolutely gutted to see him go. So special man.
Best of luck on and off the pitch.

Tomorrow we will be lifting the Premier League trophy as champions, Tottenham could be relegated to the Championship at the same time, and a few days later we fly out to Budapest for the Champions League Final.
Take it all in 🏆
We have been dreaming of days like these!

Arteta on winning the title on Tuesday night:
“It’s one of the best feelings I’ve ever had. I went home, I went outside, I started to do some bbq. I couldn’t watch it (the match). I could hear noises from inside, then my son opened the door, ran towards me. He was crying and he said ‘we are champions daddy.’”
I was waiting for the moment Martin came on. I’ve been critical of him plenty of times, but he keeps showing how important he really is for this football club. Without him today, that goal never happens.
MY FUCKING CAPTAIN!
SPASITEL ARSENALU TROSSARD! 🔥🔥🔥
Gunners díky trefě Belgičana urvali veledůležitou výhru a udělali výrazný krok k titulu.
