These kids were trafficked. Watch them closely. In their chatter, you can hear them arguing looks like the little girl forgot her script. One says their dad’s walking right up, but the boy whispers, “He’s your uncle.” You literally can’t make this up.
The assigned trafficker kept his face hidden behind a surgical mask. With groups like this, it’s standard for coyotes to plant a male handler in the mix someone to steer the unaccompanied minors straight to Border Patrol.
These kids were told they’d be reunited with their mom. Let’s hope that’s true.
