It’s #TimeToTalk day 📣
Sometimes it’s easier to tell people we’re ‘fine’ than to say how we really feel.
But by talking about mental health we can bust myths and break down barriers.
So, how are you starting a conversation about mental health today?

It takes a lot of strength to reach out and talk about how you're feeling. If one of the men in your life reaches out to you, or if there's someone you think you should check in with this week, these tips can help you support them. #MensHealthWeek

ALT Men's mental health conversation tips: 1. Find a comfortable place to talk, 2. Start by asking: how are you feeling on a scale of 1 to 10? 3. Start questions with 'what' and 'how' instead of 'why'. 4. Be compassionate and accept his feelings, even if you can't relate to them. 5. Try not to fix the situation, just listen. 6. If the time isn't right, let him know you're there to listen when he's ready.
