So proud of our P6 and P7 representatives that took part in the Mid Calder Gala Football for @TeamJakJaksDen! A very wet but fun evening. We are very proud of how you all played! ⚽️ 👏🏻 🥅 🏆 #MCPSP6 #MCPSP7 #Football #Gala @WlhwbChamps

Thanks to @moneyadvicescot for a great session this afternoon for P5 and P5/6 all about banking and borrowing!

P6/7 took on a challenge of cutting a piece of A4 paper that the whole class could stand inside! They did it by following some steps and using problem solving skills. We even tried an A3 piece of paper and got all of P5 in too! #Challenge #ProblemSolving #MCPSP67 @WLmaths

Thanks to @PoliceScotland for coming in to speak to P5, 6 and 7 about road safety. We enjoyed hearing about using the traffic gun and asking some questions. #MCPS67 #RoadSafety #Police #DYW

P2 will be designing a mascot for our school sports day! Before starting on the design, we researched what features a ‘good’ mascot would need to have! We used digital technologies to look at previous mascots, used adjectives to describe them and built our own! #P2MCPS #creative

P5/6 have been learning about irreversible changes in Science today. We loved doing our experiment! @WL_STEM

Well done to the MCPS netball for taking part in the WL competition! So proud of you! #MCPSP6 #MCPSP7 @WlhwbChamps @ActiveWL #HWB #Netball

P2 have been learning about the Olympics being held in Paris this year. We used different materials to recreate some of the landmarks in Paris. Can you guess what they are? The children used teamwork and creativity, focusing on shape, line and pattern. #MCPSP2 @WL_STEM @Olympics
