From 54 GHz to 330 GHz, we have developed a complete family of broadband hybrid circulators for millimeter-wave and sub-THz applications.
At these frequencies, a circulator is no longer just another component in the signal chain. It becomes an enabling technology.

This Labor Day, Micro Harmonics is recognizing the people whose work makes innovation possible.
To our employees, customers, research partners, and the broader engineering community, thank you for everything you do. We wish everyone a safe and enjoyable Labor Day.
At the International Microwave Symposium (IMS), Virginia Diodes, Inc. (VDI) demonstrated how our VVA gave their system a controllable element at the high-frequency side of the chain.

#voltage variable attenuation
Needed: Electronically tunable attenuation at millimeter-wave frequencies: lnkd.in/gAFsanY7
Our design offers several key advantages, including:
• No moving parts
• No sensitivity to electrostatic discharge (ESD)
• Smooth, voltage-controlled attenuation

When performance matters, measured data matters.
That's why every Micro Harmonics mmWave component is:
- Designed for exceptionally low insertion loss
- Built to handle high RF power
- Individually characterized across the full waveguide band

Our orthomode transducer was used to combine independent horizontally and vertically polarized signals into a single dual-polarized sub-THz beam, helping enable two simultaneous data streams over one link.

One of the more interesting demonstrations at #IMS this year came from IMRA America, Inc., which showcased a #photonic #THz source stabilization setup using optical frequency locking and OCS spectroscopy. This system utilized our WR-3.4 full-band hybrid #circulator. Great work!
The foundation laid in 1776 continues to shape not just the country, but the industries, technologies, and institutions built on top of it.
This week is a great time to recognize and remember that history and look ahead to what the next chapter holds.
Happy 4th of July!!!
Learn more about our line of mmWave and sub-THz isolators that begin at WR-28 (26.5-40 GHz) and extend all the way up to WR-2.8 (260-400 GHz) without sacrificing bandwidth or adding insertion loss here:

IMS 2026 is underway, and we’re here in Boston. Come by Booth #23024, where we are running two live demos:
A WR-8 voltage-variable attenuator in operation as a power equalizer.
A photonic THz source stabilization setup with IMRA America, using a WR-3.4 full-band circulator.
Just one more week until IMS 2026 in Boston. If you’re working in millimeter-wave or sub-THz systems, we’ll have two demos at the booth that are worth a look.
You can find us at Booth #23024. We’ll see you there.

Today, we want to honor and remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice made so much of what we have today possible, and we’re deeply grateful to those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
IMS 2026 is coming up, and we’ll be in Boston this June 8th-12th. Come by Booth #23024. We have a couple of unique demos planned. More details to come.

RF testing of orthomode transducers (OMTs) presents a unique challenge because the common-mode port supports two orthogonal modes, while vector network analyzers use single-mode test ports.

By combining a resonant tunneling diode (RTD), a photomixed dual-wavelength Brillouin laser, and our low-loss waveguide circulator, the IMRA team demonstrated more than 40 dB of gain at 260 GHz. For details on this breakthrough, read the full article here: lnkd.in/g5PHVw3h
