Post Q School Rd1: in the restaurant eating lunch, and this dad sitting at the table next to me is absolutely berating his son after the round. Not happy is an understatement. Maybe 20 f bombs in <3 minutes.

Mannings Heath Rd2: Simple one to analyze today, just an absolute horror show with the putter. Perfect conditions weather wise, greens were soft and rolling at a good speed, coming off some momentum yesterday and just couldn’t buy anything today.

But was in an ok spot. Thought I hit a decent chip but rolled out a little too much to 6 feet. Hole 13: gettable par 5. Some trees down the left and fairly open down the right. Tried to aim right and hit a draw and I over did it and pulled it into the left trees. Had to chip out

And I managed to make par. But a hole where you hit it anywhere to where you have a shot at the green it’s a pretty simple birdie. Disappointing to miss the cut. But the problems are pretty evident. On to next week and last bit of prep for DP World Q School. Only 2 Tiger 5’s!

Mannings Heath Rd 1: 71 (-1). Had to take some punches from the course today, felt a couple times I didn’t get the outcome on shots that I deserved. Coupled with some really bad approach shots on the front lead to me being +3 thru 9 and in a terrible spot overall.

Putter, and my third shot ended up about 11 feet (funny enough) short. Missed that putt from there. Made the turn and completely turned my game around, started to hit some good approach shots and made the putts as well. Sounds silly but even felt like I left a couple out there

On the back 9. But overall I’m happy with how I turned it around, and if the lead stays at -6, I would say I have almost played myself back into the tournament. Will of course need a good day tomorrow. 4 Tiger 5’s today for those who are interested.
