I've been a software developer for over thirty years and I didn't need maths very much at all. And I didn't need any of their attitudes because they thought they were better than me. So when a time when my and everyone else's end seems to approach, how about you stop your "I'm a pretty butterfly" nonsense and act like a grown up?
They finally sacked you?
Stop calling them elite. Just because they can do one thing better than other people doesn't make them superior in any way, shape, or form.
They are crying because they have no mote anymore
Well done for passing back all the praise to your team and everything that they did, instead of being self righteous and sanctimonious about other people's behavior and how they use AI tools.
Ugly or shrill? And it leaves it up to subjective opinions.
@elonmusk how will this not become a form of abuse?
Honestly, is this all the scare mongering you could muster? Anthropic and a open AI are threatening people's lives and seeing the end of civilization and ALL you guys can only come up with a security breach?
Pitiful.
We had a security breach last night related to a large scale distillation attack that impacted 1.4% of OpenCode Console users
We have notified them all this morning via email. If you did not get an email you were not impacted, it was a subset of users who had external providers linked
The incident is ongoing so we cannot share more details at this point but we are working with Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google to remediate
I have to confess I thought this was just AI until I started seeing this view. And now I'm I'm ready to accept that this might actually have really happened.
Intelligence is not a precursor to empathy.
A Berkeley chemical engineer who suffered years of unexplained illness discovered through a spy camera from Amazon that her coworker, David Xu, was poisoning her food and water with cadmium, a toxic heavy metal for nearly 18 months between 2017 and 2019. The victim experienced significant health problems and at times required emergency care at a hospital. Newly released video shows Xu appearing to put a substance in her water bottle in 2019.
Xu was arrested that year and charged with attempted murder and two counts of poisoning, offenses that could have sent him to prison for life. But under a plea deal, the attempted murder charge and one poisoning count were dropped. Xu pleaded no contest to one felony poisoning charge and received two years of probation, with credit for one day served. He completed probation in March and is now seeking to have his felony conviction dismissed.
But that might NOT give the impression of scarcity.
Hi @opencode, give us an option to renew subscription early so we do not have to wait til the original end date without any usage left?
You can keep you custodial ideas to yourself and don't ever entitle yourself to calling yourself my 'Bro' unless I tell you its ok.
You are not my moral superiour or any other.
Look what a mathematician did to another mathematician!
@karpathy and others at OpenAI destroyed the lives of other mathematicians.
... well they were warned and clearly thought they would be kept safe... but by whom?
Fields medallist Hugo Duminil-Copin was deeply shaken by OpenAI’s release of more than 700 AI-generated mathematical manuscripts, including work on 16 questions directly relevant to his research.
“On Tuesday night, I cried, and it woke up my daughter”
“They have annihilated my field of research.”
