peanut, i am saying this with all the love.
you’re already a huge creator, and i’m sure your fans would gladly vote for you in another category where you’d be just as deserving.
with that being said, i think it’d be really nice if you would ever consider stepping down from this category, or at least choosing not to participate in it next year.
you’ve made it clear on multiple occasions that you don’t consider yourself a vtuber, and you’ve often spoken down about our community.
it feels discouraging and disrespectful to the creators who genuinely identify as vtubers and take pride in being part of this community. it’s just not fair to those who work so hard to represent the community that you’ve repeatedly expressed you don’t want to be associated with.
Announcing your nominees for Best VTuber!

I'm sad to see there are so many people retweeting this with numbers that are heavily inflated by one stream.
Like people are absolutely allowed to be proud but it feels so weird to me to preach about "Work hard to grow" if you havent actually grown but just had 1 higher number stream inflating your average?
I dont know, maybe thats just me but seeing people retweet those posts, being sad they feel like they havent grown and then checking the person they retweeted to see that the 200+ avg is a one time stream the past 6 months feels icky :/
