Got hit with a sudden $2,900 emergency room bill last month. called the hospital billing office to ask for an itemized breakdown before paying a dime. rep on the phone said: 'sure, we can mail that out, but your account is currently coded under our uninsured hardship discount.' two days later, the itemized bill arrives in the mail. the total jumped from $2,900 to $8,400. i called back completely confused. the rep calmly explained: 'requesting an itemized review removes the automatic hardship adjustment. you are now billed at our standard chargemaster rate.' a $4,600 penalty just for asking to see what services were actually performed. healthcare pricing in this country is an extortion racket where demanding transparency triggers a financial attack.

Replying to @UMichFootball
@UMichFootball No lies detected. It's obviously that the threats are empty and they both will be back on the same B.S. We should have just rehired Rich Rod, brought back Adidas and Dave Brandon. I guess I'll give you a chance. Have empty threats and Repeat for 7 games #GoBlue

Elite coaching. Something we dont have now.
Jesse Minter has the Ravens at 4-1 to start the season, and won in Atlanta… with a backup quarterback. Michigan won the 2023 National Championship because they had elite coaching. Anyone that tries to insinuate otherwise doesn’t know football. #GoBlue

Notes from Kyle Whittingham's presser (Penn State week): On Bryce and Beck: Acknowledged Michigan took a step backward and is making adjustments to accommodate everyone. Repeatedly emphasized that turnovers are the biggest issue and have to stop. On the Rhino position: Michigan will continue using it. It remains a big part of Beck's offense. Is the personnel a good fit for the offense? Whittingham believes it is. Pointed to Buchanan and Marsh playing well, while again identifying turnovers as the biggest problem. Are players being put in position to succeed? Said it's about playing to their strengths. Thought Michigan was on track after Iowa before taking a step backward against Minnesota. They won't panic and change everything because of that setback. Injury updates: Sounded doubtful that Andrew Sprague will return. Andrew Babalola will begin practicing this week. On Sprague: Said he's perplexed that Sprague won't be available and believes Sprague feels the same way. Could not go into specifics. On Zack Marshall's comments: Called it an error in judgment and said he apologized to Whittingham and the team. Described him as a great young man and acknowledged that frustration is normal. On the disconnect between practice and games: Said it was news to him that players felt there was a disconnect between their success in practice and struggles in games. What he learned during the bye: Described the team as resilient, with good energy and a positive attitude. Said it's been a roller coaster, but he's still excited to be here and believes they have a group of tough men. Personnel changes: Don't expect any major changes on Saturday. On Tommy Carr: Took half the reps with the 1s by design, something Whittingham said would have happened regardless of how the season was going. If the offense continues to struggle and they believe Carr gives them a better chance, they'll make that move. For now, Bryce remains the guy. On discussions with Bryce Underwood during the bye: Said the conversations were positive, with an emphasis on protecting the ball. Made it clear that if the turnover issue doesn't improve, something will have to give. #GoBlue

Other coaches are making better halftime adjustments. Says a lot about our coaches @UMFBCoachWhitt
Against Power Four opponents this season (Oklahoma, Iowa and Minnesota), Michigan is averaging just one point in the third quarter and 5.33 points in the entire second half. That lack of production after halftime has to change if Michigan is going to turn this season around.
