A longtime fixture? He’s been involved in Utah politics for 15 years. She’s been in Utah politics for 7. Not the huge disparity this lead-in makes it out to be.
U.S. Rep. Celeste Maloy faces Phil Lyman, a longtime fixture in Utah politics, in the state’s new 3rd Congressional District primary election. Here's what they say about Utahns' top issues. sltrib.com/news/politics/202…

This is not worthy of applause. This is literally the playbook of corruption being played to the letter:
1) Make plan the public will hate
2) Request 3-10x more than the plan
3) Get the public outraged
4) Reduce plan to original intent to appease public outrage
5) Call it a “compromise” and celebrate while getting 100% of original plan
We’re sick and tired of this crap!

CYA move. His requests will do little to mitigate the consequences of having a data center anywhere in Utah. Just look across the country. Save admiration for those truly deserving of it. Adams, et al, are just trying to cover their lack of due diligence.

The only reason why Adams is doing this is because There’s an election around the corner.
The entire Utah’s legislature should have opposed this since the very beginning, all of you remained silent until the backlash was nationwide.

You're applauding Adams for publicly demanding more transparency of himself and a project he personally negotiated to bring here? Get real.
Men are so emotional.

@abc4utah EXCLUSIVE: A top Utah lawmaker, Sen. Jerry Stevenson slapped the phone out of reporter @bayanwang's hand after showing up to cover employees being threatened and protesters at Stevenson's business today. Stevenson serves on the MIDA board, the authority responsible for bringing in the controversial Box Elder data center.
FULL STORY:

Police were called. Stevenson apologized through police and ABC4 was given a trespassing warning.
Plus he’s so emotional about it.
Men can be so emotional.
The data center embodies everything wrong w/ Utah politics.
Someone w/ power/money gets ear of our representatives. They figure out deal behind closed doors. Then they roll it out to public w/ token hearings.
It’s already done before we even know about it.
Oh hell no!

Remember to vote NO this November on the UtahGOP - who passed unconstitutional laws, tried to trick Utahns into giving up their rights w/Amendment D, then failed to follow the constitution’s notice provision so the Supreme Court had to fix their mess.
DON’T VOTE GOP.
Remember to vote NO this November on Justices Diana Hagen and Jill Pohlman because the Constitution matters.

This entire nominating commission should be disbanded. I’m embarrassed for them.
And outraged.
@GovCox @SpencerJCox @JakeLeei
INBOX: @GovCox has announced the final list of nominees for the two new seats on the Utah Supreme Court. You'll remember that the legislature expanded the court from 5 to 7 seats earlier this year.
The Utah Supreme Court had a female majority for the first time in its history in 2022.
The Utah Legislature then passed at least 2 bills affecting the makeup of the Sup Ct so that we are now back to a male majority.
Utah. #utpol

Pro-family, small government, individual rights UTGOP. 🙃
NEW: The @SLCountyGOP is running a resolution to "abolish IVF," hoping their delegates will approve the change as a platform plank and legislative priority. Below is the full text. They'll vote on it Saturday at the County Convention. #utpol @abc4utah

I missed the word "kangaroo" in Article VIII, Section 1.
The Utah Legislature has the clear constitutional authority under Article VIII, Section 1 to establish courts by statute. This new 3-judge panel ensures a thorough, balanced review of our most vital laws. I'm proud to have sponsored our trigger ban (though the article doesn't accurately describe the bill) and I will continue to fight for life. It's time to stop the procedural stalling and protect our most vulnerable.
I don’t get it.

Nah. I’d rather have Blake thanks.
This is a disappointing result after so many volunteers worked so hard to get the signatures needed to put it on the ballot.
Blake Moore put us in this mess by working hard to take redistricting away from our elected representatives and give it to an unelected commission and ultimately, an activist judge.
I’m working hard for Northern Utah, and I need your help to defeat him in the Republican primary. Join the team or donate at votekarianne.com

I’m old enough to remember:
🇺🇸 Trump and Vance: Repeal Prop 4
🇺🇸 Burgess, Celeste, & Mike: Repeal Prop 4
🫥 Blake: Didn’t sign, no public statement supporting the repeal
