Really proud to be a part of the MSR mission! My amazing team’s hardware (the CCRS End Effector) is shown (partially) operating on the orbiter 1:16-1:20 🚀🦾🛰️ – at Los Angeles, CA
En route home after a tough 2 weeks at @MayoClinic recovering from my 3rd palate reconstruction. I’m so grateful for Dr. Shelagh Cofer and her surgical team at the VPI Clinic, everyone at the Hyperbaric Clinic, and my nurses at St. Mary’s & Methodist Hospitals. 100% angels ❤️🩹💜 – at Minnesota, USA
Overwhelmed with pride and excitement today with this incredibly inspiring news!! So excited for you @arbowe you never cease to amaze me! 😍🥹🤩🚀💎 – at Minnesota, USA
I’m going to space!
As the first Black woman confirmed to fly with @BlueOrigin on #NewShepard, I am expected to be the sixth Black woman to cross the Kármán line – the internationally recognized boundary of space!
Had a wonderful week learning about our partners in space exploration @NASAGoddard & @JHUAPL w/the JPL LMP class of 2022! Both facilities are doing incredible work. Gaining insight re: their cultures/expertises was illuminating. This cross pollination is 🔑 to our shared success!
Crying the good cries over these 🥲 I’m so unbelievably proud of everyone who contributed to the incredible success that is @NASAWebb – at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Webb’s first full-color images are now the world’s to enjoy! We hope you found them as meaningful and beautiful as we did. Here’s to many years of Webb science — we can’t wait to see what’s next as we continue to #UnfoldtheUniverse! go.nasa.gov/3ccf2lf

Really proud to be a part of this mission, and of my brilliant friend Phoebe (check her out in the video)! I delivered 6 deployment actuators for SWOT, 2 of which drive Phoebe’s mechanisms. I love that our hardware gets to work together in space and can’t wait for launch! 💙🚀⚙️
SWOT is water.
SWOT is precision.
The Surface Water and Ocean Topography mission will measure the height of the water in Earth’s oceans and freshwater bodies. #TrackingWorldWater
I was fortunate enough to get to sneak in and watch this successful NISAR boom deployment up close and personal today! Pictured here with my dear friend and fellow MechE, Sascha, and the boss lady herself, Pam Hoffman. My baby actuators were well (nominally) behaved 🛰⚙️🙌🏻
Respect! One of the hardest jobs I’ve worked had me in 4” stilettos walking onto a grate w/a fan blowing under it (without looking down), stopping on said grate, and shimmying while waving a giant swath of fabric in the wind- right after someone spilled hair oil on the runway…

MSR Phase B Diary Entry: My workdays are nuts. By noon, my morning meetings feel like yesterday. Throughout the day I feel as though I’m dancing a choreographed routine (Phase C will add simultaneous juggling). Every day, I am amazed by all we have both uprooted and accomplished.
