Furthermore, your claim that independence would benefit the economy is foolish to anyone possessing the basic capacity to evaluate it. One doesn't need a degree in finance to see the reality. Scotland is heavily insulated by a multi-billion-pound Union dividend from Westminster, without which our public services would immediately collapse under a catastrophic deficit. The current Scottish Government fundamentally lacks the financial acumen and economic intelligence required to sustain an independent state.
