2027 gets another interesting storyline...
Andrew Bailey spent the U.S. Open in June working the merch tent. A volunteer shift for Holderness & Bourne, the brand he reps for his day job.
He was playing mini tours until a broken wrist in 2015 ended that run. Fast forward 11 years and 12 USGA starts later, Bailey just won the U.S. Mid-Am. Next summer, he’s teeing it up at Pebble Beach for the U.S. Open.
Bucket hat. Bucket list.

Two-time Crump Cup champion Stewart Hagestad. 🏆
The 2023 winner beat 2024 champion Andrew Price 3&2 in Sunday's all-champions final at Pine Valley — closing out a week where he avenged the medalist's upset and never trailed late in a match.
And don't sleep on the Senior bracket: 8 seed Randy Haag took down the medalist, the defending champion, and finished by beating five-time champion Mike McCoy 5&3 for the Senior Crump Cup.
Flight titles: Garrett Rank (2nd), Bobby Wyatt (3rd), Gene Elliott (Senior 2nd).

I’m told Ohio Catholic schools have been working on various plans to leave the OHSAA if public schools force a playoff split, citing growing scheduling challenges. This would be a transformational change to high school athletics in the Buckeye state
