As we approach the end of the summer, I want to take a moment to thank all of my wonderful interns for their dedication and hard work.
It is one of the great honors of my position to welcome interns and externs into my chambers at the North Carolina Court of Appeals. Their sharp analysis, positive energy, and commitment made a real difference this summer.
As they head back to school, I have high expectations for each of them and wish them the very best of luck in the semester ahead. The future of the profession looks bright with people like you in it.
Best of luck to all of my friends, former interns and students taking the bar exam this week. You have worked hard and will do great!
