Why @shotscope are LM1 units in stock at American Golf and available for next day delivery? I pre-ordered mine in mid-March and paid and still don’t have a shipping date. Please explain or tell me how to get a refund.

Nothing to see here… Just a clip of The Chancellor calling out the previous Govt for raising NI against the strong advice from business. “Making each new recruit more expensive.” “Adding pressure to businesses when costs are already going up, like energy and supplies.”

bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c70q… #SchoolFeeVAT has real consequences👇 Schools are closing, jobs are being lost, and children are being displaced. Struggling schools like @HighfieldPrep can’t absorb a 20% tax hike on top of everything else being thrown at the private sector. Education should be supported, not taxed. #EducationNotTax

This post breaks the rules on the Ethics Guidance for Gov Comms. (See screenshot and link below) As countless other people have said, including me, this is a NEW tax (not removing a tax break). We never taxed education because that would be an abhorrent and ridiculous thing to do. Yet this gov is now applying a NEW tax to education in the middle of a school year. This will go down in history as one of the reasons Labour is almost wiped out at the next election. gcs.civilservice.gov.uk/publ…
On 1 January, the 20% VAT break for private school fees will come to an end, enabling better investment in state education and helping to recruit 6,500 new teachers. Find out more by clicking the graphic below 👇

So a tax that no school has ever paid is now being described as a tax break, which nobody ever has before. As opposed to a new tax on education, which is what it is. It’s an impressively Orwellian use of nomenclature. And it will pay for a third of an extra teacher in every state school. Well done. Revolutionary.
And every penny raised through the removal of this tax break will be spent in our state schools.
