Today we honored @kobebryant by allowing students to annotate his retirement poem. They also learned about the importance of perseverance.
After, students had to ball up their worst fears and take a shot for points. You must yell “Kobe” when you take your shot!
They loved it!

Omygoooooooodnesss!!!!! WHY have i never seen this before?!? What an awesome idea!!!
Can you imagine as a prerequisite all seniors choose a kindergartners to mentor and teach....... teaching the seniors patience and pride, and the kindergartners have someone to look up to ( not in their family)
And when the seniors graduate, the kindergartners will graduate with them (into first grade)
That would be an AWESOME program!

I have never seen anything before like this in my life.
In all seriousness, has any other superstar faced high powered teams like LeBron has?
Spurs
Dallas Mavericks.
Boston Celtics
Warriors
OKC Thunder
I’m sure I’m missing someone else, but I respect him for competing.
I have to teach these kids in the morning, but I’m staying up because I think the Lakers can pull it off. They have to start scoring asap while SGA is out.
