And there is no vehicle that is more dangerous on the road than an ebike. They are powerful, accelerate quickly and many people who ride them have no prior experience. And their health benefits are minimal at best. As a walker, I am terrified by these bikes.

I’d quite happy with ‘cyclists crashing into him’ if we also used ‘after driver crashed into him’ It’s seems the ‘we can’t apportion blame without knowing the circumstances’ position is quite flexible.
